NOW READ THIS.......
No one has ever challenged it except Prof. P. N. Oak,
who believes the whole world has been duped.
In his book Taj Mahal: The True Story,
Oak says the Taj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz's tomb but an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva (then known as Tejo Mahalaya) .
In the course of his research Oak discovered that the Shiva temple palace was usurped by Shah Jahan from then Maharaja of Jaipur, Jai Singh. In his own court chronicle, Badshahnama, Shah Jahan admits that an exceptionally beautiful grand mansion in Agra was taken from Jai SIngh for Mumtaz's burial .
The ex-Maharaja of Jaipur still retains in his secret collection two orders from Shah Jahan forsurrendering the Taj building.
Using captured temples and mansions, as a burial place for dead courtiers and royalty was a common practice among Muslim rulers.
For example, Humayun,Akbar, Etmud-ud-Daula and Safdarjung are all buriedin such mansions. Oak's inquiries began with the name of Taj Mahal.
He says the term "Mahal" has never been used for a building in any Muslim countries from Afghanisthan to Algeria. "
The unusual explanation that the term TajMahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal was illogical in atleast two respects. Firstly, her name was never Mumtaz Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani," he writes. Secondly, one cannot omit the first three letters 'Mum' from a woman's name to derive the remainder as the name for the building."Taj Mahal, he claims, is a corrupt version of Tejo Mahalaya, or Lord Shiva's Palace .
Oak also says the love story of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan is a fairy tale createdby court sycophants, blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists . Not a single royal chronicle of Shah Jahan's time corroborates the love story.
Furthermore, Oak cites several documents suggesting the Taj Mahal predates Shah Jahan's era, and was a temple dedicated to Shiva, worshipped by Rajputs of Agra city. For example, Prof. Marvin Miller of New York took a few samples from the riverside doorway of the Taj. Carbon dating tests revealed that the door was 300 years older than Shah Jahan. European traveler Johan Albert Mandelslo, who visited Agra in 1638 (only seven years after Mumtaz's death), describes the life of the cit y in his memoirs. But he makes no reference to the Taj Mahal being built.
The writings of Peter Mundy, an English visitor to Agra within a year of Mumtaz's death, also suggest the Taj was a noteworthy building well before Shah Jahan's time. Prof. Oak points out a number of design and architectural inconsistencies that support the belief of the Taj Mahal being a typical Hindu templerather than a mausoleum. Many rooms in the Taj ! Mahal have remained sealed since Shah Jahan's time and are still inaccessible to the public. Oak asserts they contain a headless statue of Lord Shiva and other objects commonly used for worship rituals in Hindu temples .
Fearing political backlash, Indira Gandhi's government tried to have Prof. Oak's bookwithdrawn from the bookstores, and threatened the Indian publisher of the first edition dire consequences .
There is only one way to discredit orvalidate Oak's research. The current government should open the sealed rooms of the Taj Mahal under U.N. supervision, and let international experts investigate.

The perfect Break Up Letter

A soldier stationed in Afghanistan recently received a letter from his girl friend back home.

It read as follows:

Dear Ricky,
I can no longer continue our relationship.
The distance between us isjust too great.
I'm sorry.
Please return the picture of me that I sent to you.

Love,
Becky

The soldier, with hurt feelings, asked his
fellow soldiers for any snapshots they could
spare of their girlfriends, sisters or ex-girlfriends.
In addition to the picture of Becky, Ricky
included all the other picturesof the pretty gals
he had collected from his buddies.

There were 57 photosin that envelope along with this note:

Dear Becky,
I'm so sorry, but I can't quite remember who
the hell you are. Please take your picture from
the pile, and send the rest back to me.

Take Care,
Ricky

Moral of the story: If you can't change your fate, change your attitude.

So... whats the fuss about f@#$??? Lets talk abt X and lets talk about MEN

There in our life...
we make an issue about everything and anything...
so what is it that we want the most and what is it that makes us tick...

i met a man... and my mommy always says they want only one thing...
my firends on the otehr hand .. say they feel only 3 things -- Hungry, SLeepy or horny...

i am beginning to believe that... bt about them wanting only one thing...i find that hard to believe coz... i knw they want companionship...they want love... they r like babies... believe it or not...but thats the way it is...
at times i really wonder this species and what they r made of.... seriosuly... like...they want what they dotn get and what they will get they dont want...

so thats where the confusion begins... how am i to get what i want and how do i get what i dont... so if u really want a man to come your way... dont want him...????

is that it?? thats a bit funny then what say you??

Guess what i found ...

Life and work go hand in hand.....

Life is a as beautiful as we see it to be...
Not only do things happen the way we want them to happen and things go, the way we want them to actually proceed. Life goes on smoothly and slowly...
We all have choices in our lives and it all depends on us, what we want to do and how we want to do it more importantly!!!

"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin -- real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way. Something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life." -- Alfred D. Souza

How rightly has this man quotedly our entire life, why wait for tomorrow...do it all today, this is the one life we have just make the most of it!!!!

Sparks of brilliance veiled beneath the thick smoke of mediocrity. If you look hard enough, you'll see it. If you come close enough you'll feel it.
It's not of my making, i was born into this.
Am i fulfilling my destiny or fighting it. This is one question we ask ourselves everyday knwoing it or not. SO at a conscious or a sub conscious level we are making our destiny. Its us who does what we do, and what we do we cant undo...

As complex it may sound, its pretty simple on the contrary. Let life move in the direction it wants to move you and you move along with it!!!

thats how you will reach, the place you want to, the place that you dream of!!! The place thats yours....The destination in life that you were supposed to be at.

Why wont my life begin...... I am back!!!!!!!!!

believe it or not!!!!

yeessssssss i am
am i here to make a statement or am i here coz i just am...
am i here for some unfinished business or am i here to stay!!!

everyone is on this planet for a reason and evryone has something or the other to say!!!

love makes the world go round, but its love only that makes us say things which we might mean or not!!!
life is a BIG mix up of ups and downs and its all about what we want in life and all we finally get...

life is worth living and life is a journey towards nothingness and the sooner we accept that the better it is...........

a new day has begun...

its been soooooooooo long since i last wrote
i just didnt feel like writing it just didnt matter any more if i did or didnt
does it make a diff now...is what im wondering...
i dont know for sure

what is it that i really want to do in life? What do i want to acheive? life has sooo many questions and sooo many questions that remain unanswered... what is it tht you really want, what is it tht we want to know

so many questions are left unanswred, sooo many questions r awaiting our reply....

but life must go on...it always has and it must!!!

Live Life and forget about everything else

i Began this whole post with a thought about life and how screwed it really is and then .... it got deleted....i mustered my energy and wrote again and it got deleted yet again..now i'm typing in the 4th time only to say...they say patience is a virtue so i'm wondering if it really is.....
These were some thoughts that a friend of mine fwded.... also i dont understand why people suddenly stop talking to you...

Here are the totems in life :

ONE.
Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
TWO.
Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
THREE.
Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
FOUR.
When you say, "I love you", mean it.
FIVE.
When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.
SIX.
Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
SEVEN.
Believe in love at first sight.
EIGHT.
Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
NINE.
Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
TEN.
In disagreements, fight fairly. Please No name calling.
ELEVEN.
Don't judge people by their relatives.
TWELVE.
Talk slowly but think quickly.
THIRTEEN.
When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"
FOURTEEN.
Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
FIFTEEN.
Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.
SIXTEEN.
When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
SEVENTEEN.
Remember the three R's:
Respect for self;
Respect for others;
Responsibility for all your actions.
EIGHTEEN.
Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
NINETEEN.
When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
TWENTY.
Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.
TWENTY ONE.
Spend some time alone.
