Why we work???How we work?
On a bit of my philosophical self....why do we work... Seriously as if our life wasnt fucked up enough, we have to have work to come and screw it even more...
Yes i didnt have a great day at work, probably one of my worst...i just dont understand why people have to b sooo mean to get their message across, they can simply spell out things rather than stretching the whole ordeal and sensationalising the issue and then worst by not understanding the others point of view.....
Ya, u know what ... its easier said than done...i dont think i understand or understood their point of view... i need to do that more often now
Walk in everyone else's shoes
A lesson well learnt, but never the less... u need to b nice to all is what i think is the key 2 success... seriously!!

I'll take the liberty of giving a few words of advise - as a person whos spent a bit more time in the corporate world... Firstly, you need to take the first year of your job a bit easy on the aggression. You are seen as a 'bachcha' till then. Go with the flow, dont do anything controversial, dont step on people's toes. If you need something slightly radical done, make sure that you put it across so that the person whom you are talking to thinks its his idea. Be seen as someone who can be depended upon. Thus, slowly build confidence. People take at least six months to start relying on you and therefore giving you work to do without supervision. Be patient till then. Dont demand more responsibility, autonomy. Demand more work, once in a while. Then, gradually start voicing your opinions which are different from group-think - in a manner which implies 'there is this angle also'. If people do not see that immediately, do not mentally disconnect from the group. Keep yourself fully involved in the discussion, and start taking up tasks without waiting for someone to assign them to you (but be careful not to be seen as usurping someone else's domain). Smile a lot.
